OpenIt is a mobile application developed and operated by Zure Technologies (Pty) Ltd. This privacy policy explains how OpenIt collects, uses, and protects user information.

Application Purpose

OpenIt is used for controlled gate access by authorised users only. Access is restricted to users who have been pre-approved by the system administrator.

Information We Collect

• Cellphone number
• Precise location (used only to verify proximity to the gate)

How Information Is Used

• To verify user identity using a one-time PIN (OTP)
• To confirm the user is physically near the gate before allowing access
• For security and access control purposes

Information Sharing

Cellphone numbers and location data are not sold, shared, or used for marketing. Information is shared only with service providers strictly required to deliver OTP messages.

Data Storage and Security

Cellphone numbers are stored securely. Location data is processed in real time and is not stored. Access to stored data is restricted to authorised administrators only.

Data Retention

Cellphone numbers are retained only while access is required. Data is removed when access is revoked.

User Rights

Users may request removal of their cellphone number by contacting the system administrator.

Children’s Privacy

OpenIt is not intended for children under the age of 13.
